Back in 2023 I created the above ring to hold a 2ct princess cut diamond. Fast forward to December 2024 and I was asked to make the same design but this time using a 2 carat round diamond.

The above ring we have been exploring making for over 18 months. In late 2024 I was given the go ahead to make the ring. Being one of the last rings I will make in 2024 I thought I would share it as the last post for the year.

Photo 1: Before I made the ring I used photoshop to edit the ring to scale onto the customers hand to ensure it gave her the look she desired.

Photo 2: Then we explored the style and width of the wedding ring she desired.

Photo 3: Finally we made changes to the design to ensure that the wedding ring would sit perfectly next to the engagement ring when the time came.

I do enjoy making trellis style rings. Not as much as antique jewellery but really enjoyable. I find them elegant, functional and above all the flow of the style simplistic and aesthetically pleasing.
